The EQE SUV has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The EQE SUV’s height leveling suspension allows the driver to raise ride height for better off-road clearance and then lower it again for easier entering and exiting and better on-road handling. The Lyriq doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

The EQE SUV’s drift compensation steering can automatically compensate for road conditions which would cause the vehicle to drift from side to side, helping the driver to keep the vehicle straight more easily. The Lyriq doesn’t offer drift compensation steering.

The AMG EQE SUV handles at .94 G’s, while the Lyriq Luxury AWD pulls only .79 G’s of cornering force in a Motor Trend skidpad test.

The AMG EQE SUV executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver 2.3 seconds quicker than the Lyriq Luxury AWD (24.1 seconds @ .82 average G’s vs. 26.4 seconds @ .71 average G’s).

For better maneuverability, the EQE SUV with rear wheel steering’s turning circle is 5.1 feet tighter than the Lyriq’s (34.5 feet vs. 39.6 feet).

For greater off-road capability the AMG EQE SUV has a greater minimum ground clearance than the Lyriq (7.6 vs. 7 inches), allowing the EQE SUV to travel over rougher terrain without being stopped or damaged.

An ASSYST PLUS is standard on the EQE SUV to save the owner time and money by calculating maintenance intervals for tire rotation and brake pad replacement based on odometer mileage. This takes the guesswork out of keeping your vehicle in top condition and helps it last longer. Cadillac doesn’t offer a maintenance reminder on the Lyriq.

The Lyriq doesn’t offer a heads-up display.

If the windows are left open on the EQE SUV the driver can close all of them at the outside door handle or from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can lower the windows from a distance using the keyless remote. The driver of the Lyriq can only close the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are optional on the EQE SUV to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The Lyriq doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the EQE SUV has a standard rear wiper. The Lyriq doesn’t offer a rear wiper.

The Lyriq’s cornering lamps activate a lamp on the front corner when the turn signal is activated. The EQE SUV’s optional adaptive cornering lights turn the actual headlight unit up to several degrees, depending on steering wheel angle and vehicle speed.
