The Mercedes AMG GT’s pre-crash front seatbelts will tighten automatically in the event the vehicle detects an impending crash, improving protection against injury significantly. The Revuelto doesn’t offer pre-crash pretensioners.

The Mercedes AMG GT offers an optional Post Collision Brake, which automatically applies the brakes in the event of a crash to help prevent secondary collisions and prevent further injuries. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a post collision braking system: in the event of a collision that triggers the airbags, more collisions are possible without the protection of airbags that may have already deployed.

Over 200 people are killed each year when backed over by motor vehicles. The Mercedes AMG GT has standard Close-Range Braking that uses rear sensors to monitor for objects to the rear and automatically applies the brakes to prevent a collision. The Revuelto doesn’t offer automatic braking for stationary objects directly to the rear.

Earlier warning of stopped traffic, traffic signals, dangerous road conditions, weather, or accidents, can keep driver's safer and prevent crashes. The Mercedes AMG GT has Car-to-X Communication, a system that seamlessly communicates important warnings to the driver about impending danger, if they're available. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a system that can receive automated systems from infrastructure or other vehicles.

The Mercedes AMG GT has a standard blind spot warning system that uses sensors to alert the driver to objects in the vehicle’s blind spots where the side view mirrors don’t reveal them. A system to reveal vehicles in the Revuelto’s blind spot costs extra.

To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the Mercedes AMG GT has standard Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Brake automatically engages the brakes to help avoid a collision. Lamborghini charges extra for Rear Cross Traffic Alert on the Revuelto.

The Mercedes AMG GT’s driver alert monitor detects an inattentive driver then sounds a warning and suggests a break. According to the NHTSA, drivers who fall asleep cause about 100,000 crashes and 1500 deaths a year. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a driver alert monitor.

Both the Mercedes AMG GT and the Revuelto have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, rearview cameras and available lane departure warning systems.

Warranty

The AMG GT comes with a full 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The Revuelto’s 3-year basic warranty expires 1 year sooner.

There are over 9 times as many Mercedes dealers as there are Lamborghini dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the AMG GT’s warranty.

Reliability

The Revuelto’s redline is at 9500 RPM, which causes more engine wear, and a greater chance of a catastrophic engine failure. The Mercedes AMG GT has a 7000 RPM redline.

Fuel Economy and Range

On the EPA test cycle the Mercedes AMG GT running its gasoline engine gets better mileage than the Revuelto running its gasoline engine:

The Mercedes AMG GT 63 S E Performance can travel with zero emissions on electricity, only, on a full charge for 11 miles. The Revuelto Ultimae has to start its internal combustion engine after only 5 miles.

Environmental Friendliness

In its Green Vehicle Guide, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the Mercedes AMG GT higher (4 out of 10) than the Lamborghini Revuelto (2). This means the Mercedes AMG GT produces up to 15.6 pounds less smog-producing pollutants than the Revuelto every 15,000 miles.

Transmission

A nine-speed automatic (SMG) is available on the Mercedes AMG GT, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only an eight-speed automatic is available for the Revuelto.

For better stopping power the Mercedes AMG GT CCB’s front brake rotors are larger than those on the Revuelto:

Tires and Wheels

For better traction, the Mercedes AMG GT’s optional front tires are larger than the largest tires available on the Revuelto (295/30R20 vs. 265/30R21).

Suspension and Handling

The Mercedes AMG GT’s drift compensation steering can automatically compensate for road conditions which would cause the vehicle to drift from side to side, helping the driver to keep the vehicle straight more easily. The Revuelto doesn’t offer drift compensation steering.

The Mercedes AMG GT’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (54% to 46%) than the Revuelto’s (43.7% to 56.3%). This gives the Mercedes AMG GT more stable handling and braking.

Chassis

The Mercedes AMG GT is 8.7 inches shorter than the Revuelto, making the Mercedes AMG GT easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

For excellent aerodynamics, the Mercedes AMG GT has standard flush composite headlights. The Revuelto has recessed headlights that spoil its aerodynamic shape and create extra drag.

The front grille of the Mercedes AMG GT uses electronically controlled shutters to close off airflow and reduce drag when less engine cooling is needed. This helps improve highway fuel economy. The Revuelto doesn’t offer active grille shutters.

Cargo Capacity

The Mercedes AMG GT has a much larger trunk with its rear seat up than the Revuelto (11.3 vs. 4 cubic feet).

To make loading and unloading groceries and cargo easier when your hands are full, the Mercedes AMG GT’s power trunk can be opened or closed just by kicking your foot under the back bumper, leaving your hands completely free. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a power or hands-free opening trunk.

Ergonomics

The Mercedes AMG GT has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

When three different drivers share the Mercedes AMG GT, the memory system makes it convenient for all three. Each setting activates different, customized memories for the driver and front passenger’s seat positions, steering wheel position, outside mirror angle, climate settings and radio stations. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a memory system.

The Mercedes AMG GT’s standard easy entry and exit feature raises the steering wheel and glides the driver’s seat back, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. An easy entry system costs extra on the Revuelto.

The Mercedes AMG GT offers an optional heads-up display that projects speed, tachometer and navigation instruction readouts in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a heads-up display.

The Mercedes AMG GT’s standard Keyless-Go allow you to unlock the doors from either outside door handle, open the trunk, and start the car, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. keyless entry system standard on the Revuelto doesn’t offer a sensor on the trunk.

Heated windshield washer fluid is standard on the Mercedes AMG GT to defrost the washer nozzles and quickly clear ice and frost from the windshield without scraping. The Revuelto doesn’t offer heated windshield washer fluid.

The Mercedes AMG GT’s sun-visors swivel front-to-side to block glare from the side windows. The Revuelto’s visors are fixed into the windshield header.

When the Mercedes AMG GT is put in reverse, the passenger rearview mirror tilts from its original position. This gives the driver a better view of the curb during parallel parking maneuvers. Shifting out of reverse puts the mirror into its original position. The Revuelto’s mirror doesn’t automatically adjust for backing.

Optional air-conditioned seats in the Mercedes AMG GT keep the driver and front passenger comfortable and take the sting out of hot seats in Summer. The Revuelto doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats.

On extremely cold winter days, the Mercedes AMG GT’s standard heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the car heater warms up. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.

The Mercedes AMG GT offers optional massaging front seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging seats aren’t available in the Revuelto.

The Mercedes AMG GT has a standard Homelink wireless remote control system for garage door operation and device management, conveniently located on the rear view mirror. Homelink® eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries. Lamborghini charges extra for Homelink® on the Revuelto.

The Mercedes AMG GT is equipped with both FM and AM stereo radios, offering access to more content and better coverage than the Revuelto, which solely provides FM radio. With AM radio, you can enjoy a wider variety of stations featuring news, talk shows, sports commentary, native language programing, automated traffic guidance, and emergency broadcasts. AM waves travel further and penetrate buildings and obstacles more effectively than FM signals, especially at night. Having both FM and AM stereo radios the Mercedes AMG GT offers a more comprehensive listening experience compared to only FM in the Revuelto.

HD Radio boasts several benefits over conventional radio: superior sound quality with clearer and consistent FM broadcasts, CD-quality audio, and Multicast Channels offering up to four streams from a single station, adding programming choices. Cars like the Mercedes AMG GT equipped with HD Radio provide an improved in-car entertainment experience. The Revuelto, devoid of this technology, foregoes these benefits. Selecting the Mercedes AMG GT empowers drivers to enjoy a more immersive and enjoyable listening experience while on the go.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Mercedes AMG GT has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the front center console. The Revuelto doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.

The Mercedes AMG GT’s Active Parking Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. The Revuelto doesn’t offer an automated parking system.

Model Availability

The Mercedes AMG GT is available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a two-wheel drive configuration.
